Strategic Partnership for the Future: The R.Rockefeller S.C. and Giancarlo Zema Design Group

Today, ourCEO and Majority Shareholder of The R.Rockefeller S. C., signed a strategic partnership agreement with the internationally recognised architect and entrepreneur Giancarlo Zema , formally establishing a world collaboration between The R.Rockefeller S. C. and Giancarlo Zema Design Group .
This signature marks the beginning of a concrete and operational partnership, built upon complementary expertise, international experience and a shared vision for the future of technology, infrastructure and sustainable architecture.
Giancarlo Zema founded his studio in Rome in 2001 following significant international experience. Throughout his career, he has developed major projects across USA๐บ๐ธ ; Europe๐ช๐บ, the Middle East and Asia, including Qatar๐ถ๐ฆ, United Arab Emirates ๐ฆ๐ช , Bahrain ๐ง๐ญ , Libya ๐ฑ๐พ , Azerbaijan ๐ฆ๐ฟ and China ๐จ๐ณ .
He has designed innovative infrastructure for ANAS and the Italian State Railways Group, including the Smart Road Center in Rome and the Varese Vertiport Hub.
His work has been featured in Forbes , The New York Times and The Sunday Times, presented at the Venice Biennale and the Milan Triennale, and recognised with more than thirty international awards.
Our partnership combines the global capabilities of The R.Rockefeller S. C. in Sovereign AI, complete artificial intelligence software development, cybersecurity, quantum communications, Geothermal AGS energy and international strategy with the architectural vision, creativity and international design experience of Giancarlo Zema Design Group.
This collaboration is already taking shape in Sicily through the Augusto Innovation Hub in Milazzo, led by Chairman Fabrizio Crimi Cand developed across an area of 47,000 square metres, with the architectural vision of Giancarlo Zema.
The project includes an initial investment of 100 million euros within a programme supported by the UAE ๐ช๐บ European Commission and the Sicilian Region๐ฎ๐น, with its operational phase scheduled to begin in October 2026.
Between 2027 and 2029, the Hub is expected to expand progressively through new additional funding on a substantially larger scale and through the integration of the European Sovereign AI initiative.๐ช๐บ๐๐๏ธ
The agreement signed today is more than a partnership between two organisations. It represents an operational alliance between vision, architecture, engineering and technological sovereignty, created to transform ambitious ideas into real infrastructure capable of generating lasting international value.
