The R. Rockefeller S.C. is officially a partner of the Augusto Innovation Hub in Milazzo (Sicily)🇮🇹🇪🇺 , 100 million € a project developed within a programme co-financed by the European Union and the Sicilian Region.
The initial €100 million is just the beginning: the outlook is one of major, rapid and substantial global growth.
Through the partnership with RRSC, the Augusto Innovation Lab will become the first Italian national technology hub dedicated to Virtual Production and neural AI development , adding the production of sovereign artificial intelligence software, applied technological research, cybersecurity, and a future university centre strategic also for the sovereign AI.
Led by Fabrizio Crimi and a consortium of Italian entrepreneurs, the project will be fully eco-sustainable and energy self-sufficient, powered by photovoltaic and next-generation geothermal technology RRSC RePG Geothermal AGS Huseyin Karayagiz Huseyin Karayagiz Engin AKEL
The design and architecture bear the signature of the Giancarlo Zema Design Group , a renowned architecture studio and leader in smart, eco-sustainable infrastructure recognised for smart eco-sustainable projects, the studio has won prestigious international awards, including the Chicago Athenaeum Green Good Design Awards, the BUILD Architecture Awards (UK) and the Global Future Design Awards (USA), and Giancarlo Zema was named Blue Ambassador 2024.
Giancarlo Zema has just officially joined the Board of Directors of ALIS – Associazione Logistica dell’Intermodalità Sostenibile , one of Italy’s leading associations for sustainable logistics and intermodal transport.
The Augusto Hub become a strategic European / Global center directly connected to our centre in the United Arab Emirates 🇦🇪 , through the R. Rockefeller S.C. UAE Center, led by
H.E. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Khalid Bin Ahmed Bin Hamed Al Hamed (Grandson of His Excellency Ahmed Khalifa Al Suwaidi, the UAE President’s Representative, First Minister of Interior, and Founder of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) )

This will make the Augusto Hub one of the most strategic and influential centres in the Mediterranean.
For this Yesterday in our Milan Headquarters , together with the CEO of our Italian branch Francesco Cuccurullo , and our Director of AI Fashion Marketing Simone Ruggeri I met the President of the Augusto Innovation Hub project Fabrizio Crimi , and the partner Giancarlo Zema Giancarlo Zema Design Group , for a strategic meeting to start our official strategic partnership with our international The R.Rockefeller S.
